Developing Today to Influence Tomorrow

We are excited to be sponsoring the SDN London Digital Conference and looking forward to meeting senior leaders in analytics and business Intelligence, CCIOs and CNIOs from across the region.

6 February 2024 | 16-18 Paddington St, London, W1U 5AS

As healthcare demands put increasing pressure on already stretched resources, digital solutions have a key role to play in improving efficiencies in the delivery of care. Lengthy ambulance waits, delays discharging patients, widespread strains on resources, poor visibility of patients ready for discharge and poor visibility of available capacity across the organisation are common challenges across the NHS, alongside the pressures to meet the national EPR mandate by 2026. The time for action is now.

Meet the Altera Digital Health team and we will share client stories, learnings and insights covering:
  • The importance of sustainability in healthcare and the role of EPRs to ensure long-term viability, resilience, and a future-proofed healthcare system
  • How technology can improve patient flow and drive efficiency
  • The vital role of interoperability and data integration
  • The importance of adopting a holistic approach to patient care and resource management.
  • How it is possible to accelerate digital maturity with a cost-effective approach, no matter where your trust is in their digital journey.
In our session at 12:05, you can hear first-hand from one of our Sunrise EPR clients, Maidstone And Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW) who will share best practices and learnings from their digital journey:

Digital evolution, not digital transformation: A new approach to technology

Speakers: Johanna Kelly, CNIO, and Ros Tucker, Digital Transformation Manager, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Tust
6 February | 12:05-12:20

MTW has put implementing its EPR at the centre of its digital strategy, taking a flexible and incremental approach to its deployment. Moving away from the traditional monolithic EPR deployment model has helped the team understand how the EPR fits local needs, enabling clinical buy in and leading to successful digital change across the trust. At the same time, it has created a culture of digital evolution, rather than digital transformation, enabling the trust to continually innovate and build tailored solutions, without causing major disruption to clinical workflows. This session will share how taking this alternative approach to big bang deployments has enabled the trust to innovate, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
